Frequently asked questions
How do I use the scientific keys?
Turn your iPhone sideways, or tap the ƒ button at the top of the calculator to show them in portrait. On iPad they are always visible.
Does it follow the order of operations?
Yes. 2 + 3 × 4 = 14. Brackets work as you'd expect, and any you leave open are closed for you when you press =.
How does the % key work?
It works like a shop calculator: 200 + 10% = 220, 200 − 10% = 180, and 200 × 10% = 20. On its own, 50% = 0.5.
How do I delete a digit?
Tap the ⌫ key, or swipe left or right across the number.
How do I copy or paste a number?
Touch and hold the number at the top of the screen, then choose Copy or Paste.
Where is my history?
Tap the clock button at the top left. Tap any result to use it again, or swipe to delete it. You can turn history off in Settings. History is stored only on your device.
What does Premium include?
Eight extra themes, six alternate app icons, and search and export for your history. The calculator, scientific mode, history and converter are free for everyone.
How do I restore or cancel Premium?
To restore, open Settings in the app and tap Restore Purchases. To cancel, open the Settings app on your iPhone, tap your name, then Subscriptions, then Calculator. Cancel at least 24 hours before renewal.
