StepLock respects your privacy. We do not track you and we do not collect, transmit, or sell personal data.
Data We Do Not Collect
- No personal identifiers: No name, email, or account data.
- No analytics or ads: No third‑party SDKs, tracking, or profiling.
- No location: We do not access your location.
What the App Uses Locally
- Notifications: The app schedules local notifications to remind you at your chosen interval.
- Motion/Step data: On‑device motion signals and step counts are used only to detect when you’ve taken 10 steps to dismiss an alarm. This information does not leave your device.
- Preferences: Your interval and onboarding state are stored locally on your device.
Data Sharing
We do not share your data with any third parties.
Children’s Privacy
StepLock is not directed to children under 13. We do not knowingly collect personal information from children.
